Continuing on my path of paintings inspired by pieces at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC, today’s inspiration is “Clytie” statue by William Henry Rinehart. Putting her greens, greys and silver with her standing in deep thought off right. This piece was a lesson in patience and learning to not overwork the paint.
