Who Is Sharon Jamilkowski?
Sharon is an artist who works with primarily with LED/ electroluminescent wire as well as paint, producing, writing, and editing.
Sharon went to Pace University and got her BFA focusing in Acting. There she had an art professor try to persuade her to double major in the Visual Arts. She owned Hungry Productions LLC, which produced and edits comedic shorts. Sharon had a hit public access/podcast cooking and sketch comedy show, "I've Got Munchies" which aired for 18 years on MNN. Her work has been seen on Pundit Kitchen on Cheezburger.com, Funny or Die's Main Page, Buzzfeed, WeMakeTheFunny.com, ShiftGig, Funny Not Slutty and Comedy Rants comedic websites. In 2014, she premiered her solo show "The Joy Of Arting with Diana Ross" at the Solocom festival at the Peoples Improv Theater NYC, which combined her two loves- art and comedy. Later, she fleshed out the show to a full length character art piece in 2017 to sold out audiences at the PIT Loft. Over the past 6 years Sharon has gradually shift her focus to the visual arts and producing shorts. In 2020, she had two shorts in film festivals and "Deb's Divorce Party" won funniest in fest at SPLIFF Film Festival. And in 2022 she produced the dark comedy "Scabatha", which is being shown at Austin After Dark and Austin Comedy Film Festivals.
