Body Waves

After doodling this sketch in my notebook last November in the Dallas Airport on a layover, I was eager to create this piece. The subtle waves rolling away from the center point, with the electric light reflecting off the base. I am slowly evolving the EL wire technique using new materials like Sugru moldable glues and different cable fasteners to hold the wires.  The hardest part was waiting for items to be delivered in the mail during the pandemic.  This piece includes: Wire Hangers, an old crate wood for the base, el wire, e600 glue, Sugru moldable glue, silver paint  and cable fasteners. Here's the final product.
