It's been a month or so since I grabbed my brushes and just let my watercolors run free. I took a day to really relax and enjoy the possibilities on my canvas. At the moment, I am enamored with the sculptor August Rodin. The flow and ease of his pieces has inspired me to take those silhouettes and capture the same feel on a watercolor piece. This was inspired by "Pygmalion and Galatea" by Rodin found at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC.
