The next step in creating my interactive LED head piece is Soldering and attaching the circuit boards and wiring to the Arduino. The above shots are various stages in this step. Overall, the precision and delicate hand of soldering has made the challenge all the more interesting. Stay tuned for the next step: coding!

Embracing the female silhouette, I have used the inspiration from various pieces from the Metropolitan Museum of Art's collection. These are watercolors highlighted with metallics to add a layer of sensuality to the female form. There will be more to come.

On a quest to create a new piece every week, here's last week's creation! Using watercolors, a picture of myself, I traced and transposed, and of course adding the gold paint for that layer of drama, I think the shades of Green & Gold abstract came out with a glow.

I am dabbling in abstract watercolors. Using the technique of drawing a portrait with no breaks in the line, then adding watercolors to develop the piece. Here's one of the pieces, using FINTech metallic watercolors within certain areas of the painting.
Here's a new watercolor painting I created using irredescent paints- finetech watercolor paints. They helped capture the trippy nature of the lava lamp!
